Look at these two handsome guys as they proudly display their Raging Cupcake shirts. They saw my shirts and had to have one. For some people taste is just inherent.

Check out my Raging Cupcake buddy Doreen Manning as she rocks her new tank (as did her teammates) for a Roller Derby tournament. They even chanted ‘Raging Cupcakes’ before they hit the floor. Some people seek out celebrity endorsements, but for me, I’ll take a bunch of New Jersey rollers over Britney Spears anyday!

Maybe it is the fact that I rarely act my age, but putting together this coloring book has me pretty excited. I have two others in the works, and just to get everyone on the edges of their seats – one will feature ZOMBIE CUPCAKES!

Twenty years ago I first made hair bows and barrettes. Having a daughter inspires me to keep it up. I had to make certain that even if they weren’t cupcakes, at least they were RAGING! I’ve often expressed that I have crafting ADD. That makes for lots of creativity and new Raging Cupcakes stuff will be coming out all the time.
Don’t forget – all Raging Cupcake items are 20% off until Monday, September 26th. You MUST use coupon code ‘RAGING’ when ordering.

I’ve decided I dislike my thermostat, merely because it is fabulous. I’ve lived here two months and the only complications that have arisen thus far relate to my air conditioner controls. Yes, it is easy to read and I can pinpoint my indoor temperature with precision accuracy. But frankly, I’m over it and would gladly return to the antiquated model that has survived handily in my rental home for twenty plus years. Read the rest of this entry »
Day Old Cupcake Greeting Card/Aging/Self-Esteem
I had a really bad dream last night. Not a nightmare, not a sad dream, just a really sucky dream. Grabbing my dream analysis book didn’t help. The only positive symbol in the dream was a spoon, indicating good fortune. But the spoon in my dream was a slotted spoon full of holes, so I’m pretty sure that negates any good vibes heading my way. The dream culminated with some dude telling me I was off the charts on the ‘creep meter’. And in front of my daughter; that was the most sucky part. Read the rest of this entry »

This card seems pretty self evident. Clearly our sugar filled friend should have considered the fact that the potential for death exists at the end of the ride. I like to believe he jumped off at the last minute into the green grass losing only some frosting, his pride and that cool vintage skate. Read the rest of this entry »

Leroy will be 13 years old this December. It is tough to remember life before him. Everything changed when he came into my world. I strongly believe he taught me about love and I’m a better person for having become his mom. In the last couple months his health has started to deteriorate, this is testing the limits of my patience. Nothing says unconditional support like tolerating bodily functions gone awry. He needs to pee constantly and a good poop has become an insurmountable endeavor, of course most of us over 40 can relate to that. Read the rest of this entry »
http://www.etsy.com/listing/73686385/pink-raging-cupcake-day-of-the-dead
By far, the Raging Cupcakes Day of the Dead depiction is our most popular. Currently it is available as the necklace above, a comfy burnout women’s tee http://www.etsy.com/listing/79498058/day-of-the-dead-silhouette-burnout and we will soon reveal note cards with the image in several colors. Wonder how I came up with the idea? I went with my daughter to the mall and checked out a t-shirt shop for inspiration. I saw a shirt with an x-ray image of a rabbit. I thought it would be cool to do an x-ray image of a cupcake, but to do a skull void of color lacked pizazz. Remembering my love of the vibrant colors in Mexico’s Dia de los Muertos, I had to combine the concept with a cupcake. Thanks for the great response you have given to my mash-up.

It is hard to imagine that a concept like ‘Uneaten Cupcake’ is actually intended to reflect the difficulties we are having in a struggling economy. Recently, I have seen many hard working, good people lose their homes, businesses or jobs. It is easy to feel detached if you yourselves have not gone through it, but most of us know someone that has had some sort of experience where they were barely able to survive intact.
